Sustainable Forest Management
Producing quality sustained-yield Forest Products since 1952
Linde Bros. Lumber is located 27km (17 mi) south of Williams Lake, B.C., in the heart of the Cariboo Region. Our family-owned and family-operated business has been providing high-quality lumber products since 1952. Our lumber products are crafted from tight grain interior Douglas Fir, Pine, and Spruce. When logs are available, we have Cedar and Aspen products also.
We offer dimensional lumber, flooring, T&G paneling, channel and bevel siding, decking, and custom cut timbers.
All of our products are crafted in our historic mill using the tools of yesterday to create high quality lumber with character that you can't find at more modern mills. One circular saw, a gang saw, one portable band saw, a scragg mill, and planer produce our lumber.
Our lumber manufacturing process begins at the sawmill, where the logs are processed into rough lumber. The rough lumber that will be used for sidings, flooring, and paneling is stripped and air dried before being planed.
Because we are intensely committed to the environment that has sustained our family business for so long, we have looked for valuable uses for our waste. For example, our sawdust is used by local farms for livestock bedding, mulch, etc. and our trim ends are available for local firewood use.
